The "SMTOWN 2022 - SMCU EXPRESS" project is based on the concept of "SMCU EXPRESS," and expands the worldview of artists, which has been newly named "metaverse origin stories," based on SMCU (SM Culture Universe). In order to allow you to experience all of the future content in this metaverse, we will present it through not only performances but also album releases and exhibitions.
 
"SMTOWN LIVE 2022 - SMCU EXPRESS@KWANGYA", which will be held on January 1st, 2022, will be held in a virtual space called "KWANGYA", with the "SMCU EXPRESS STATION", where all artists gather, as the backdrop!
Don't miss this performance that will be the culmination of the content that SM Entertainment pursues!
 
This performance will be held free of charge to bring healing and hope to fans around the world amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The event will be broadcast worldwide via YouTube and the newly launched "Beyond LIVE" global platform, and in Korea it will also be available on the "LG U+" idol live app!
 
Prior to this, "2021 Winter SMTOWN - SMCU EXPRESS", which will be released on Monday, December 27, 2021, is SM Entertainment's first SMTOWN winter album in 10 years since 2011!
Artists from SM Entertainment who are active all over the world will be participating, and not only will they be performing songs from their respective groups, but they will also be featuring a variety of member combinations that can only be seen here!
